Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company providing live conversations on demand through its conversation enablement technology that has revolutionized B2B marketing is looking for a Database Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance tables with high concurrency writes and reads, real-time aggregations, and millisecond query response times. The company has built a cloud sales acceleration platform that has helped 1k+ B2B companies ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. This job presents a great chance to join a leading technology company and contribute to solving multiple sales development challenges through the groundbreaking platform.

Job Responsibilities:

Large-scale transaction processing and data warehouses should be designed and architected
Build support for fast analytics and reporting queries
Keep an eye on deadlocks and try to break them up
Slow requests must be monitored and optimized

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Knowledge of Indexing, caching, normalization, partitioning, replication, and patterns such as CQRS
Extensive MQ SQL server experience on GCP will be a plus
Fluency in verbal and written English
