Job responsibilities

  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
  • Maintain data interchange between server and the users
  • Design robust, secure, and scalable features

  • Define the architecture of modern tools and runtime for operating your code
  • Implement integration, development, SCRUM, code standards, and refactoring
  • Collaborate with product owners to deliver products in an agile environment

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
  • Working knowledge of Ruby programming language and common libraries such as RSpec and Resque

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

  • Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
  • The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Experience in Salesforce integration and Webhooks
  • Experience in Unix/Linux environments, including basic commands and scripting
  • Strong knowledge of code versioning tools (Git, Merging, Branching, Pull Requests, etc.)
