Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop large-scale applications
  • Monitor and enhance application performance to meet business needs
  • Write clean, high-quality, testable, and reusable codes

  • Identify and resolve development issues to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Work on integrating applications with database technologies
  • Plan, write and execute various test cases for quality assurance

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Perl programming (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Expertise in Perl, object-oriented programming, CGI protocol, and RESTful web services

  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with DevOps technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of database languages like SQL
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C, or C++
