Database Engineer

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Tiger Graph-based solutions to satisfy the organization's data management requirements. Job Responsibilities:

• Design and execute data models, combine data from diverse sources, and optimize performance in close collaboration with the other team members
• Address business requirements by creating and maintaining Tiger Graph-based applications
• Ensure data quality while integrating data from diverse sources
• Work together with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to make sure that the solutions satisfy the needs of the business
• Keep abreast on the most recent developments and trends in Tiger Graph technology
• Enhance Tiger Graph-based systems' performance to meet the demands for high-volume, high-speed data processing
• Develop and employ data models for successful data management
• Create and maintain the documentation to ensure the proper use and upkeep of Tiger Graph-based systems

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a database engineer
• At least 3+ years of experience working with Tiger Graph architecture and related features
• Extensive familiarity and expertise with Tiger Graph's RESTful API, Graph Query Language (GQL), and Graph Data Modeling 
• Track record of successfully completing ETL processes and data integration tasks
• Prior experience with cloud-based Tiger Graph solutions is preferred
• Nice to have in-depth knowledge of diverse graph databases like Neo4j, Janus Graph, or Amazon Neptune
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• An aptitude for both independence and teamwork
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced workplace and self-motivated
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and conversational
