Job description

A fast-emerging talent-based company helping companies utilize the power of relationships and referrals to achieve a better hiring experience is looking for a Fullstack (Backend-heavy) Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building end-to-end features with a focus on backend development to build and maintain internal APIs. The company has developed a tool that converts thousands of professionals into the world’s most powerful network and gives access to 5 million candidates referred from over a network of 10,000+ experts. It is a full-time opportunity for candidates who have a strong desire to collaborate and grow in a dynamic environment.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Work on developing, testing and maintaining new products and features
  • Contribute to an inclusive, diverse and distributed team of incredible engineers
  • Provide technical leadership in code reviews and through architecture proposals

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be experienced in Ruby on Rails
  • Sound communication skills, with an ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate your work
  • Proven full-stack development experience using React or other modern JavaScript framework
  • Familiar with relational databases and database design, preferably PostgreSQL
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
