Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Contribute to driving automation process to collect new data and refining the existing sources
  • Participate in improving tools and building predictive analytics over time
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex problems quickly and efficiently
  • Analyze, design, and develop SQL tables, views, functions, stored procedures in order to store and manipulate data

  • Build a monitoring and diagnostics pipeline to maintain quality-of-service targets
  • Keep documentation of code, development process, special instructions, and any modification made in database tables

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience in enterprise-scale data system design and development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Excellent grasp on SQL, Azure database management, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience in data system development with Azure SQL Database, and SQL Server

  • Extensive experience in building large scale transactional systems and analytics systems
  • Expertise in handling different data formats like JSON and NoSQL DB
  • Well-versed with BI platforms like Tableau and report building
  • Fluency in English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of .NET, C#, and web technologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, SSRS, etc.
  • Microsoft certifications in SQL Server, Azure SQL database are preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of the Agile Development process
