Skills required to become a React Native/TypeScript developer
Writing and understanding JavaScript is one of the qualifications for a remote React Native/TypeScript developer job. Furthermore, mastery of ESLint, Redux, Enzyme, Jest, and other tools aids in the navigation of patterns and applications. Let's take a closer look at each of the in-demand skills:
1. HTML + CSS
Every front-end developer is familiar with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), which are used to create user interfaces. Understanding HTML and CSS allows you to navigate the requirements for implementing responsive web ideas. While HTML and CSS are static, they are required for creating a user-friendly platform. Writing semantic HTML elements, performing CSS resets, and comprehending box models offer you an advantage over more experienced applicants. If you want to work in a remote React Native/TypeScript developer job, you should have a thorough grasp of front-end programming and user interface.
2. JavaScript
A skilled React Native developer is well-versed in JavaScript ideas. JavaScript is the foundation of React and React Native. As a result, a candidate looking for a React Native/TypeScript developer job should have a solid understanding of ES6 and React. To assess your ability, most recruiters will ask you technical questions on ES6 and React. Ideally, recruiters are searching for applicants that have hands-on experience with React Native. So, if you've created an app with React Native, be sure to have them on hand.
3. PHP
PHP is a programming language that is incorporated in HTML and allows web developers to construct more interactive, dynamic web pages and online apps. PHP code may be processed on a server, allowing PHP to make web pages more interactive and complicated. Furthermore, PHP allows you to password-protect particular pages on a website.
4. Variables and Scoping
Variables in JavaScript allow us to store data in memory and access it as needed. As a result, knowing when and where to access data is critical for designing apps. While familiarity with the previous method of storing variables is beneficial, a thorough understanding of ES6 foundations is required. Nuances of ES6 basics are a must-have for practically every remote React Native/TypeScript development position.
5. Arrays and Objects
In a React Native/TypeScript developer job, you should be able to manipulate objects and alter their value properties. You should remember that your view is a function of a state, or v=f(s). The name "React" was taken from the conditional statement - your view responds to changes in your state object. Furthermore, developers should use the built-in JavaScript array techniques to appropriately modify data. We encourage you to explore the library's foundations before coming in for an interview.
