Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Implement Python code using Django framework
  • Identify bottlenecks and fix software bugs
  • Develop efficient solutions for systems, databases, UI, and web services
  • Analyze existing software solutions to identify areas for improvement

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in large-scale data management (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Good grasp of PostgreSQL, Python, and Django
  • Proficiency with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views in PostgreSQL

  • Good grasp of PostgreSQL, Python, and Django

  • Experience working with Docker, Flask, or other Python frameworks
  • Experience working with MVC and event-driven programming
  • Experience with database design and data modeling
  • Knowledge of SQL and REST APIs
  • Knowledge of software configuration management including GIT
  • Proficiency in the following tech stack - FastAPI, Docker Implementation, PostgreSQL, Microservices, Pandas, and React
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
