Job description

A leading video game development software company is looking to hire a Full-Stack Mobile Developer. The developer will own the entire software development life cycle that includes the software's design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance. The company operates as the leading no-code platform, empowering and helping people to unlock their creativity by offering a suite of software tools and eliminating the technical hurdles associated with mobile app development. This role provides an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to contribute to the growth of the team.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain a scalable, quality, and extensible architecture 
  • Leverage shared components across multiple projects
  • Help grow the team of desktop and mobile developers
  • Work closely with Designers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, QA, and others to deliver compelling user-facing products
  • Identify and resolve performance optimization issues across different generations of mobile devices
  • Contribute to product management discussions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience developing projects
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects to customers
  • Extensive experience with Native Android App Development
  • Strong focus and expertise in Android and Kotlin, but knowledge of iOS development is an advantage
  • Ability to offer relevant opinions about engineering practices 
  • Experience implementing scalable ideas in a real-world, adaptive, team setting
  • Possess sound product thinking and awareness
  • Capable of visualizing the bigger picture beyond the UI 
  • Nice to have some experience with Android libraries such as Retrofit, Room, Lottie, and ImageView
  • Proficiency with QML, MySQL, AWS Amplify, Jira, and Figma is a plus
  • Prior experience creating games as a hobby is a bonus
  • Knowledge of working with REST API for modern Android app
