Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Design and build the front-end and back-end aspects of iOS applications
  • Publish new applications and update the existing ones
  • Ensure quality, performance, and reliability of applications

  • Analyze and fix application bottlenecks to improve performance
  • Implement new technologies to maximize app development efficacy
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to determine and develop new features

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience as a full-stack iOS engineer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming

  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and other cloud services.
  • Expertise in implementing RESTful APIs and services deployment
  • In-depth understanding of networking and Apple’s design principles
  • Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
  • Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with Swift frameworks like Core Animation, Core Data, Core, etc.
  • Strong grasp of CS fundamentals like data structures and algorithms, computability, etc.
  • Understanding of mobile application development lifecycle
