Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing cutting-edge software that digitizes legal contracts and creates intelligent automated contract workflows, is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Developer.

The developer will be responsible for improving the current Slate.js-based document editor by adding functionality along with additional tasks. The company makes it possible for businesses to use their modern workflow to automate and manage their legal contracts. This position requires some overlap with the EST time zone. The company has managed to secure $118K+ during its Pre-Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Possess an understanding of requirements, solicit input, and improve demonstrable solutions by working in an agile development environment.
  • Participate in a variety of creative product development activities, such as idea pitching, fast prototyping, coding, launch, and more.
  • Develop designs that are fully documented and adhere to development timelines.
  • Work with product managers and development teams to produce and execute software solutions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack.
  • Extensive experience working with Slate.js or text-editing library/framework. 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of React and TypeScript.
  • Nice to have some familiarity with the Material-UI component library.
  • Prior experience with GraphQL is desirable.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
