Job description

An emerging early-stage startup building a data-centric platform that enables ML to effortlessly learn and adapt is looking for a Full-Stack, Front-End-Heavy Engineer. As an engineer, you should be well-versed in the latest front-end and back-end technologies. The company has previously built large-scale ML systems at the world's leading technology companies and universities like MIT, Instagram, Facebook, PrimerAI, Cloudera, etc. This is a unique opportunity for developers to work with the top-brass professionals who are currently leading the industry. This will be a full-time position that requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build the web application front-end, and also contribute to the back-end API service as needed
  • Create clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code
  • Develop beautiful web-based user interfaces and reporting dashboards
  • Develop solutions for highly complex problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity working with Python is nice to have
  • Familiarity with the AWS Ecosystem, especially deploying and scaling the front-end application, is desirable
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
