Job description

A fast-growing company building a data sharing and visualization platform is looking for a Full-Stack, Back-End-Heavy Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing the existing infrastructure and building new features. The platform enables users to tell stories easily by visualizing, sharing, and collaborating with data. The company has managed to secure $100K+ during their Pre-Seed round. This will be a full-time and long-term position. It is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working in autonomy and driving the product forward.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with other engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
Build and maintain scalable and well-documented stacks
Identify errors and fix bugs in the software applications
Architect and execute the infrastructure and features that are most critical, to support data visualizers
Find new and effective ways to write codes efficiently
Build intuitive yet powerful applications on the internet

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
Extensive experience with D3.js, JavaScript, AWS, HTML, and React
Track record of experience deploying on cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
Solid skills in architecting and building massive, scalable web applications
Competent at designing and deploying high-performance systems with reliable capabilities
Working knowledge of relational databases SQL
Act as a team player and work in a collaborative environment
Fluent in English communication
Excellent collaboration and organizational skills
