Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing data-powered direct marketing, brand strategy, and media mix modeling services is looking for a Data Science Lead. The selected candidate will be in charge of solving the clients’ technical and data-related problems. The company is providing clients and businesses with the market’s next media evolution through advanced analytics. Job Responsibilities:


  • Work as part of a team while developing applications and services using agile development methods
  • Ensure the optimum performance, high availability, and stability of solutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Work on planning, designing, and executing end-to-end web architectures


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Data Science, Python, ETL, Data pipelines, and Machine Learning
  • Must possess excellent business acumen
  • Editing and creation of smart models to help our brand clients make the most informed decisions possible in allocating their marketing & eCommerce spend
  • Thought leadership and product development leadership for the creation of new and existing statistical models, aimed at driving the maximum return, budget savings, and optimal business results for our clients
  • Mine, aggregate, and analyze data from databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies
  • Frequent collaboration with the Head of Engineering to develop technical solutions, often involving coding and/or editing existing code, to help facilitate and automate the normalization, summarization, and automation of disparate types of data for our proprietary analytics platform.
  • Experience with mixed-media modeling, user segmentation analysis, forecasting, big data retailer modeling, etc.
  • Prior experience working with an ad/marketing agency
  • Nice to have some experience with sales lift studies
  • Fluent in conversational and written English
