Job responsibilities

  • Write effective, scalable code using Python programming language
  • Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
  • Integrate user-facing elements into applications
  • Test and debug programs and ensure improved functionality of existing systems

  • Verify compliance with accessibility standards

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in Python programming on the Django framework (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Expert knowledge of Python frameworks, including Django and Flask
  • Good knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)

  • Stronghold on server technologies including Linux, Apache, Node.js, Nginx
  • Experience in web UI using JavaScript frameworks, like ReactJS, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
