Job description

A fast-growing company on a mission to bring service providers closer to their end-users is looking for a Web Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing the software products for speed and efficiency. The company is committed to giving consumers access to virtualized networks so that businesses can benefit from emerging technologies like 5G and the opportunities they present. The company has managed to raise $72 mn+ in funding so far. This will be a long-term position requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on providing operational care and support to the company’s cluster 
  • Assist the team to track issues, resolve, and enhance workable features
  • Perform design and architecture support for the data platform
  • Develop scripts to automate or integrate the data platform utilizing API and/or third-party technologies
  • Provide knowledge transfer
  • Create and update documentation such as user and admin guides

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience with Perl and PHP
  • Prior experience in Linux and SQL
  • Prolific experience in SevOne
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
