Job description

A fast-growing company that has developed a mobile app to order Lottery tickets and offers a new, trusted, exciting way for users to play and win, is looking for a Senior Web Developer. The developer will utilize vast experience in React to architect and build new services, tools, and processes to support the growing application. The company is led by seasoned Silicon Valley titans and has developed a technology to securely track favorite numbers, group memberships, purchases, and winnings while enhancing the Lottery playing experience to be more fun and convenient. The candidate will play an active role and work with a talented team of passionate individuals to bring more excitement to people's lives.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain software systems
  • Optimize performance and scaling of the platform
  • Collaborate with the rest of the software development team and with other stakeholders
  • Research, suggest, and implement new technologies, strategies, and tools to solve technical issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a web developer
  • Experience in React with a strong preference for XState
  • Proficient in Next.js
  • Strong interest in modern development best-practices, software solutions, and architectures
  • Eagerness to undertake projects and tasks with an attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
