A Silicon Valley-based company building a robust platform for livestream artists, creators, and friends to share and enjoy music, is looking for a Senior Web-based Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating regularly with team members to find and build efficient features. The company combines voice and video chat with music and enables users, including producers and fans, to have room-based interactions. They have managed to raise more than $3.8mn in funding so far.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan, build, design, and execute end-to-end web development
Improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
Guide the work of other lesser experienced developers

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a web developer
Must have expertise in React and JavaScript
Familiarity with real-time experience (voice, video, or chat) is nice to have
Music playback experience is nice to have
Excellent English communication skills
