Job description

A US-based company that is building next-gen products that modernize and streamlines how organizations disburses funds, is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for writing clean, readable codes and mentoring other developers. The company is on a mission to revolutionize the way funds are distributed and managed in sports, nonprofits, and beyond. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with product, and the design team on iterations of the app and identify additional key features
  • Work with other engineers to build all the necessary services to support the app
  • Set the technical vision for the team’s platforms and products and lead design discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects
  • Incorporate customer feedback to constantly improve the product
  • Help establish and influence engineering processes, tools, and systems that will allow the team to scale the code base, productivity, and the team 
  • Establish goals and KPI’s for teams while continually focusing on engineering efficiency
  • Conduct code review, set standards, mentor, and test

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Proficiency in React Native, Swift, and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of security best practices for mobile apps
  • Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
  • Prior experience launching at least one mobile app or several features that reached a large number of users
  • Experience interacting with multiple REST APIs (first-party and 3rd party) is nice to have
  • Nice to have a strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
  • Experience in building Fintech mobile applications or mobile applications for Financial Services is desirable
