Skills required to become a Sr Fullstack PHP/React engineer
To be an effective Sr Fullstack PHP/React engineer, you must possess a diverse set of skills. Here's a rundown of the abilities we believe are most important for landing a remote Sr Fullstack PHP/React engineer job:
1. JavaScript
JavaScript is an open-source, layered, portable, general-purpose programming language. JavaScript, together with HTML and CSS, is the foundation of every online application. It allows you to add interactive elements to your web pages like polls, slideshows, and forms that detect clicks from touchscreen devices automatically. JavaScript allows you to add animations and scrolling to your website, as well as handle audio and video. Page optimization strategies and cross-platform compatibility difficulties in websites might also be implemented.
2. PHP
The Hypertext Preprocessor, or PHP for short, is known for its efficient and dynamic web page creation. You can deal with pre-existing code with PHP since it has a lot of features, such as the ability to construct bespoke websites faster than HTML. It has incredible speed, high degree of interoperability at all levels, and free versions that allow website building on low-cost hosting packages offered by many network providers. With its mailer, this language also allows you to set up an automated email notice for registration and password reset.
3. CSS & HTML
HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are two important web page technologies. Depending on your project's objectives, HTML offers the page structure, while CSS provides both visual and auditory layouts. HTML and CSS are essential when dealing with images and scripts to create user-friendly web pages. CSS also enables you to style your pages for a variety of devices, such as huge screens, tiny screens, and printers. It may be used with other XML-based markup languages and is not dependent on HTML.
4. JSX
JSX is used to encapsulate React.createElement() API. Without it, growing the API would be too tough, which is one of the reasons it's so important to the library and why the React team chose it in the first place. Theoretically, React.createElement() might be used to create a whole application. That would, however, be no quicker than using HTML directly. Although it may appear like incorporating our Markup into our template logic is a step backward, it just takes a few minutes using JSX to fall in love with the look.
5. Fundamentals of JavaScript + ES6
Variables and scoping, Arrays and objects, Array methods, Functions and arrow functions, DOM Manipulation, and event handlers are all necessary for mastering React.
6. Redux
React has built-in state management. Studying the asynchronous nature of state changes and how React manages them has caused a lot of concern among engineers. This is why Redux was built, as well as for scalability. Redux is a state management library that may be used to do a wide range of tasks. It's more of a mindset than a structure when it comes to data. Redux is based on the principles of functional programming and immutability, but it's not a one-size-fits-all solution. It's vital to learn the principles of React programming before diving into Redux.
