Job responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture
  • Build and maintain software products from the scratch
  • Work on developing front-end applications with clean designs
  • Create and maintain databases effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Perform unit and integration testing to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Ensure keeping clean and updated technical documentation
  • Keep abreast with relevant updates and trends in the development industry

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a full-stack developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficient with multiple front-end and back-end programming languages, including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Python, Ruby, PHP, Go, etc.
  • Well-versed with JavaScript-based task runners, including Bower, Grunt, and Gulp
  • Knowledge of libraries & frameworks, like jQuery, React, Node.js, Vue.js, AngularJS, etc.
  • Competency in using web server technologies such as Apache, Node.js, ISS, and Nginx
  • Sound knowledge of MySQL, Cassandra, Postgres, and MongoDB
  • Experience in SQL database design, RDBMS concepts, and Master Data Services
  • Fluency in English for effortless collaboration
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a daily 4-hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of codebases and version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of building CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience in system design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts is a plus
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies
  • Great arithmetic reasoning, logical and analytical thinking skills
