Job responsibilities
- Design and develop new web applications.
- Review application requirements and interface designs
- Write and maintain reliable Ruby code.
- Develop back-end components and write server-side logic in PHP
- Manage and oversee full software development lifecycle

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of experience in full-stack development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Prior experience with Ruby programming, RoR framework, PHP, and PHP modules
- Expertise in Ruby libraries and tools like as Resque and RSpec
- Proficiency in PHP web frameworks such as Yii, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
- Solid understanding of REST API design and services development
- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively with engineers and clients
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
- Previous experience with front-end technologies HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
- Familiarity with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, or SVN
- Experience in handling MVC architecture and ORM libraries
