Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating a comprehensive platform to build a world-class digital ecosystem is looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of providing a seamless user experience while optimizing software responsiveness, memory utilization, and performance. The company’s innovative social media application is enabling users to receive rewards for engaging with advertisements. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers to work with a team of industry professionals while tackling multifaceted complex problems.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create strong and user-friendly Android applications by working together with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
  • Use best practices for Android development to write clean, effective, and maintainable code. Take part in code reviews to make sure the code is effective, reliable, and follows coding standards
  • Manage projects, oversee testing (including PR reviews), and develop features
  • Improve the development process by keeping abreast of the newest trends and technology in the Android development environment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software or Android engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Android Jetpack Compose and Kotlin
  • Nice to have some familiarity with Jetpack Components and OKTA for auth
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and conversational
