Job description

A NASDAQ-listed online platform that makes transacting with digital currency a seamless experience for merchants, consumers, and traders, is looking for a Senior Android Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team to set up the process of creating new apps in React Native. The US-based company is committed to building a strong crypto-economy that will revolutionize the financial industry. They have raised over $500mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop a long term vision for upgrades and maintenance tasks of the platforms
  • Build and maintain scalable and well-documented stacks 
  • Drive and deliver on the product roadmap, turning rough specs into features
  • Ramp on new web technologies to improve the application

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of experience working with Android and Kotlin
  • Extensive senior mobile development experience
  • Prior experience working on complex apps with large user bases or complex functionality/screens
  • Experience working on mobile performance issues or debugging
