Job description

A NASDAQ-listed cryptocurrency trading platform is looking for a Senior Android Engineer. The selected candidate will be helping the existing team to troubleshoot, determine, and fix persistent issues on the mobile platform. The platform offers users a variety of features that make it the industry leader in cryptocurrency trading. They have managed to raise $500mn+ in funding so far. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work with a revolutionary market-leading company.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the performance and consistency of the most important features
  • Collaborate with product owners to recognize platform functionality gaps
  • Participate in the entire Android development cycle, from design to deployment
  • Lead the engineering and product conversations as a strong individual contributor
  • In addition to building the technology, add value to the product and business strategy
  • Take charge of the most important project in a team of talented engineers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of experience with Android and Kotlin
  • Senior mobile development experience working on complex apps with large user bases or complex functionality/screens
  • Experience working on mobile performance issues or debugging
  • Motivated individual, communicator, self-starter with an industrious and growth mindset
