Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company building an efficient content management platform providing exceptional customer experience for financial services is looking for a Junior Java Architect. The selected candidate will be tasked with building and maintaining clean, simple, readable code. The company is on a mission to deliver personalized products, pricing, and customer experiences with the leading financial services industry. The company has managed to successfully raise more than $950K in funding so far. This position requires a significant overlap with the IST time zone.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to eliminate performance bottlenecks 
  • Participate in all phases of the development life cycle, from concept to specification 
  • Ascertain that the software services are resistant to manipulation and mitigate security risks 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Java architect
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking ability
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
