Job description

An industry-leading US-based company that makes vehicles, products, and services to facilitate sustainable transportation is looking for a Java Engineer. The engineer will be building APIs to repeat what's happening in the UI and open the app up to other teams. The candidate will join the team that focuses on the Manufacturing Execution Systems and assist with the data replications. The company has raised close to $11bn in funding and is listed on NASDAQ. This is an excellent role as it gives a long-term opportunity for developers to grow. This role requires at least 4hrs overlap with CST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop compelling back-end components
  • Implement data storage solutions
  • Implement data security and protection within the application
  • Design and implement reliable, low-latency, and highly performant applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Solid expertise in Java and MS SQL
  • Familiarity with Rockwell MES
  • Nice to have some experience with CI/CD, ActiveMQ, or Kafka for logging
  • Good understanding of libraries and servers from JBOSS
