Job description

A fast-scaling no-code test automation platform that uses AI-powered testing is looking for a Java Engineer. The engineer will work on the core platform and build features to transform the DevOps cycle with no-Code development. The company has multiplied over the years and created the platform focusing on automating quality, monitoring, and compliance in the DevOps cycle for engineering managers. This job presents an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to come up with solutions that make the life of developers and engineering leaders more qualitative.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the leadership and provide technical guidance in software design and development
  • Mentor other team members and advocate for best practices
  • Create applications that contain clean, efficient, and production-ready code
  • Write unit and integration tests for sound code quality
  • Help architect, design, and build high-quality software
  • Identify, prioritize and execute complex tasks in a simplified, scalable, and performant manner
  • Be an active supporter of team development and growth
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand and iterate over specs
  • Perform automation through appropriate tools and scripting
  • Analyze and debug complex systems
  • Ensure software matches up to the modern techniques
  • Improve products, collaborate with internal teams and participate in peer review work

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer or architect
  • Exceptional coding abilities in Java and full-stack development
  • Excellent organization, critical thinking, and personal leadership skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to deliver with minimal supervision
  • Be a good team player with an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Previous hands-on expertise as a senior software engineer for Microservices/Cloud
  • Core competency in working with multiple technical languages, ecosystems, and platforms
  • Conversant with integrating frameworks into core engineering practices
  • Experience using system and performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, DataDog, AppDynamics)
  • Profound skills with automated testing frameworks
  • Have in-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
  • Solid experience with Service Oriented Architecture
  • Nice to have some experience in Linux, Agile development, and test-driven design 
  • Familiarity with containerization and virtualization is a plus
  • Experience with building large scale SaaS software is desirable
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, CI/CD pipeline, and NoSQL databases is a bonus
