Data Engineer - Ibrahim

A US-based company building an efficient SaaS-based platform to alleviate the complex issues of patient encounters in clinics is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer should deeply understand how Django works and make recommendations and changes based on extensive experience working with the framework. The company is committed to revolutionizing the healthcare industry through AI, bringing top-tier technology and process design to patient engagement and provider consultation. The company has raised funding worth $8mn+ during their Series A round. This will be a long-term, full-time role that demands a 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Find gaps in performance using the Django framework
• Collaborate with Engineers and cross-disciplinary teams to prioritize, scope, specify, build, test, and deliver data pipes, schemas, models, transforms, tests, and bot
• Scale the platform to leverage more architectures and newer technology stacks
• Collaborate and deliver against an ambitious product roadmap
• Contribute to the data engineering effort

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
• Demonstrable expertise with Django and related technologies
• Prolific experience with APIs
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Fluent in English communication
• Ability to work individually but also in a team environment
