Job description

A rapidly-growing startup that works in the non-traditional medical field, is looking for a Data Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating highly scalable data pipelines with next-generation tools and technologies. The company is currently in the stealth phase and the engineer will be involved in everything from the beginning. Job Responsibilities:

  • Design database and data pipeline/ETL using emerging technologies and tools
  • Contribute innovative ideas and help the team to develop operationally efficient analytic solutions
  • Define the standards and methodologies for the Data Warehousing environment
  • Research, plan, and build highly scalable data pipelines using modern tools and technologies
  • Translate complicated business needs into scalable technical solutions that adhere to data warehousing design guidelines
  • Develop data pipelines and ETL programs that are scalable and support business processes
  • Assist in the resolution of data migration challenges and the enhancement of system performance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of BigQuery and Looker
  • Familiarity with GCP and data engineering technologies/practices
  • Prior experience working with Cloud is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and conversational
