Job description

An NYSE-listed company that is on a mission to provide world-class pharmaceutical products and services is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of writing robust, clean, reproducible code. The company has been revolutionizing the pharmaceutical industry for over a century with their healthcare products. This position requires extensive overlap with the IST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor streams from various devices and get a strong insight into the same
Create UIs or automation programs with Python or Electron
Write scalable code to quickly extract features from a given data pipeline or set of data
When working with cross-functional teams, put an emphasis on writing clean, reproducible code

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
5+ years of experience working with Python and Web Development
Solid understanding of R Programming Languages is nice to have
Familiarity with Databases and Electron is desirable
Familiarity with prior time series data experience
Possess the ability to interpret time series data and have some software engineering experience
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
