Job description

A well-established company that has made a considerable mark in the beverage industry with their signature energy drink, is looking for an Android/Kotlin Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team rebuild the app natively by working with cross-functional teams. The company's widely recognized energy drink products and unconventional marketing approach guaranteed its place in the historical canon of modern-day society. This will be a full-time position requiring 6+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Combine responsive, reliable, and efficient code with aesthetically pleasing and practical design
Take leadership of the Wings for Life App event and work diligently to make it a success
Create high-volume applications that are reliable and scalable, and quickly generate prototypes
Throughout the development lifecycle, adhere to software engineering best practices for coding, architecture, and testing

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an Android Engineer
Extensive experience working with Android and Kotlin
Prior experience working on a fitness or TV application is desirable
Some experience working with GPS or mapping is nice to have
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
