Job responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain agile web applications
  • Interact with internal client-facing team and provide technical support
  • Implement MVCS (Model, View, and Controller) design patterns
  • Analyze requirements and convert them into technical specs
  • Own and drive development sprints for features and change requests
  • Own and manage application deployment in production
  • Identity and resolve architectural and performance bottlenecks

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working with Grails framework (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Profound knowledge of Java and Groovy programming languages
  • Proficient with Grails framework and its features such as dynamic typing, closures, scripting, etc.
  • Expertise in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
  • Expertise in developing REST-based microservices
  • Solid understanding of relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle etc.
  • Strong understanding of unit and integration testing methods and tools
  • Fluency in English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of task tracking systems like Jira and distributed version control systems like Git, SVN, etc.
  • Experience working with Grails plugins like Asset Pipeline, Fields, Spring Security, etc.
  • Nice to have some test-driven development experience
  • Demonstrable experience with OOP and SOLID design principles
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
  • Great technical and organizational skills

Role Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled C/C++ engineers to work with system-level libraries and tools such as OpenSSL, FFmpeg, glibc, libssh2, zlib, systemd, tcpdump and support infrastructure for AI-driven software engineering systems. In addition, you will play a key role in building the backend stack for model training and evaluation pipelines that support intelligent systems like the SWE Bench, where AI agents assist in real-world software maintenance and patching workflows

  • Expert-level experience in C and/or C++ (C99+, C++11/14/17).
