Sr. iOS Engineer -3

A fast-growing automotive company aiming to create a revolutionary marketplace to help make car-sharing more efficient, is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building new features within the mobile application. The company has managed to raise over $500mn in funding so far. The firm operates in more than 800 cities worldwide and has a large community ranging from guests to car hosts. This role requires 5+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product and design teams to build pixel-perfect interfaces and UX
• Identify scopes of improvement and develop features to make car rental easy and frictionless
• Ensure to build smooth and fluid consumer-end UIs
• Fine-tune delivery process using tests, continuous integration, and automated screenshots
• Keep upgrading existing tech stack to ensure the quality of product
• Devise approaches to improve flexibility and reliability of apps
• Utilize and contribute to in-house design system

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3-5 years of experience as an iOS engineer 
• Proficient with iOS mobile development
• Experience in building at least 2 production apps using Swift
• Experience in writing unit tests for production apps
• Nice to have some experience with REST APIs and MVVM patterns
• Familiarity with Objective-C / Swift interoperability would be a plus
• Experience working with RxSwift, Combine and functional/reactive programming would be preferred
• Knowledge of dependency injection and design patterns is desirable
• Experience with Circle CI, Kif, Earl Grey is an added advantage
• Strong communication skills with the ability to speak fluent English
• Ability to breakdown complex technical topics into clear, coherent points
