Job description

An emerging startup that provides off-grid powered electricity to rural customers is looking for a Senior Full-stack Web Developer. As a core member of a fast-growing team, the engineer will be responsible for designing and building the EASI mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The engineer will also be working on integrating data from various back-end services and databases. The company is providing power to over 4,000 individuals and businesses and aims to provide clean, reliable, and affordable energy to rural customers through modular microgrid systems. This is a rare chance for candidates to work with a creative and goal-oriented company. This is a full-time position that requires at least 4 hours of time overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
  • Management and continual development of the Energy Audit and System Integration (EASI) Web application platform
  • Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications
  • Designing and building the EASI mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
  • Fixing application bugs before the final release
  • Contribute to the functionality and overall visual design of the energy audit optimization application platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science(or equivalent experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, PHP, and Javascript
  • Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C++
  • Excellent coding and proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
  • Experience in creating and implementing UI design is a plus
