Job description

A U.S.-based company offering an online ticketing platform for various live events, concerts, and more is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising other team members and helping to develop technical skills while cultivating a comprehensive culture and results-oriented implementation. The company has over 20 years of experience and operates as a leading marketplace trusted by millions of users. It has managed to raise close to $60 mn in funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and test primary financial services, frameworks, toolkits, and features for internal financial and payment processing systems
  • To scale sub-ledger processes and integrate complex accounting systems, develop seamless and robust automation
  • Create watertight controls and interacting services to ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and dependable
  • Ensure accurate, dependable, and timely financial reporting from a single source of truth
  • Mentoring other team members and assisting many in increasing their technical capabilities while fostering an inclusive culture and results-oriented execution

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Familiarity with C/C++, Java, C#, and Objective-C
  • C# experience is a must
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of Finance Engineering, Security, and Privacy, Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, and Web Application Development
  • Experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact
  • Interest in Fintech is preferrable
  • Proficiency in English
