Job description

A fast-growing company building next-gen software solutions to help users deploy new energy projects like solar, batteries, and electric vehicles is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be collaborating with product leaders and technical teams to develop scalable solutions. The company specializes in handling large amounts of data and turning them into engaging, easy-to-understand visualizations and clear actionable recommendations. This will be a full-time role requiring 4 hours of overlap with the AEST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a small team of engineers and designers to create a smooth software for the customers
  • Define the future architecture of the platform while providing technical and product expertise
  • Mentor and guide fellow developers on the best engineering practices to be followed
  • Take charge of the end-to-end product quality, from developing to maintaining core app frameworks for a better and smooth experience
  • Develop scalable components for maximum performance across a vast array of devices and web browsers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have knowledge of Vue, Nuxt, and Git
  • Familiar with creating data visualizations and charts
  • Must have knowledge of AMcharts, Netlify, Cloudfront, and AWS CDK
  • Nice to have familiarity with Github actions and Figma
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
