An emerging company that is building an innovative accounting software built to support technology startups is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will set the bar for the rest of the team and take ownership of the product development. The company enables users to take control of their finances by providing them with efficient accounting and bookkeeping services. This is a nice opportunity for developers to quickly climb up the ladder and rub shoulders with industry veterans.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write well-structured and maintainable code
  • Work collaboratively across functions
  • Mentor and teach others as well as be mentored and taught
  • Collaborate with developers to build interfaces in web-based applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific experience working with React, Node.js, and MongoDB
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Drone, and Kubernetes is nice to have
  • Nice to have some experience working with FinTech
  • Experience managing an engineering team or contractor developers is desirable
  • Experience building products from the ground up, with a customer-first mindset
  • Good knowledge of architecture design and development
  • Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills
