Job description

A fast-growing health tech company offering real-time insights for stress, fitness, wellness, health, productivity, and more, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer. The engineer will join a talented, close-knit team and work on developing the server-side features and functionalities. The company is focused on delivering game-changing technology for real-time biomarker detection. Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand the challenges, build solutions and deliver functionality as per the team’s and product owner’s requirements
  • Write automation tests and build continuous delivery pipelines 
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
  • Participate in the deployment, monitoring, and support systems in the production
  • Design and implement reliable, low-latency, and highly performant applications 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Experienced in AWS Lambda development with JavaScript
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and experience in AWS Lambda lifecycle management (development, testing, deployment, logging, monitoring, debugging)
  • Excellent understanding of AWS API Gateway and AWS Networking (VPC, Private Link, ALB)
  • Must have prior experience working with NodeJS, MongoDB, and NoSQL database management
  • Working knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
  • Fluent in verbal and non-verbal English communication
  • Team player but also comfortable working independently
