Job description

An NYSE-listed company that is developing cutting-edge construction management software that makes it easier for businesses to manage constructions more easily and seamlessly, is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be participating in scrum review meetings and creating focused test cases and plans. The company's goal is to make everyone in the construction industry's lives better by bringing them together on a worldwide platform. The company has managed to secure more than $648mn in funding so far. This position requires a significant amount of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the excellent quality of the organization's Salesforce.com solutions by evaluating, testing, and approving Salesforce.com settings and customizations
  • Test both the Salesforce CPQ and FinancialForce functionality on the platform
  • Make sure that the functional specifications are matched to the business requirements, and that there is enough test coverage.
  • In agile development initiatives, communicate with the development team and important business users
  • Solve problems by closely collaborating with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Encourage continual improvements to the company's Salesforce.com platform
  • Stay up to date on best practices and trends in the quality engineering and Salesforce industries
  • Assess requirements, create a test strategy and plan, create and run manual test cases, track defects, and report findings
  • Record, track, and escalate problems in order to develop strong working connections through partnerships and collaboration
  • Accept responsibility for end-to-end testing flows and testing of individual components

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 4+ years of experience working with Quality Engineering, Salesforce administration, or business analysis
  • Prolific experience working with FinancialForce and Salesforce CPQ
  • Demonstrable experience with a ticketing system like Jira or Salesforce 
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration best practices
  • 4+ years of experience testing, managing, or building Salesforce.com solutions
  • Extensive manual testing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce unit testing, regression testing, and integration testing best practices
  • Creative problem solver with excellent troubleshooting capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrable experience with agile software development is nice to have
  • Prior experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning is desirable
  • Nice to have Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications
  • Extensive experience in software development or test automation using Ruby, Java, Python, or C# is preferred
  • Some familiarity with Provar Automation is nice to have
  • Working knowledge of SOQL and Developer Workbench is desirable
  • Nice to have some experience with Salesforce integrations to Zuora, Marketo, Workato, Workday, 
  • and Netsuite
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication skills
