Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping businesses to expand and grow their market with their state-of-the-art consulting services, is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of enhancing the current procedures and practices by conducting research on new tools, approaches, and trends. The company assists organizations in integrating operations, performance enhancement, and value generation in a fluid manner to transform areas of immobility into growth and produce long-lasting outcomes. Job Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit and share your knowledge of the system or service design
  • Create and execute test cases by displaying a comprehension of project documents, client requests, and product objectives
  • Take charge of creating test scenarios and acceptance tests, as well as setting up, maintaining, and using test automation frameworks
  • Assist and work together with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for automation that will raise the product's quality
  • Offer your QA expertise to the table and aid in the development of fault tolerant systems
  • Manage, review, suggest, and put into practice modifications to the current frameworks, tools, and processes
  • Examine the requirements specifications and give prompt, valuable input
  • Review test case coverage in the test management tool on a regular basis and keep it updated
  • Assume responsibility for developing and observing post-production measures
  • Include the execution of automated tests in the software development process.
  • Work together with the squad lead and other important stakeholders to plan the rollout
  • Showcase automation experience with API automation
  • Write mocking services
  • Possess the ability to create automation scripts by looking at the API spec
  • Control the production release's final quality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 7+ years of experience working with Functional Testing
  • Demonstrable experience working with Manual and Automation Testing
  • Thorough understanding of core Java concepts, including but not limited to, programming with interfaces and OOP
  • Familiarity with MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Selenium, Java, and API Testing
  • Extensive experience with Waterfall/Agile methodologies
  • Proficient experience in writing automation test cases for both iOS and Android
  • Demonstrable experience working with ALM, JIRA, Test Director, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Gherkin/BDD
  • Sound expertise with API Test Automation
  • Prolific understanding of test case design and best practices
  • Solid understanding of at least one cloud-based mobile integration solution, including Perfecto, Saucelabs, and BrowserStack
  • Ability to write test plans and scripts
  • Excellent QA process and methodology implementation experience
  • Demonstrable experience with integration testing and automation testing
  • Knowledge of integration testing component tests, testing dependencies between APIs, etc
  • Nice to have some Flutter automation experience
  • Prior Performance Testing experience is desirable
  • Some familiarity with CI/CD setups for automated testing is preferred
  • Willingness to learn about new tools and technologies
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
