Job description

A U.S.-based company that provides students, professionals, and lifelong learners with digital, interactive learning experiences, is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be contributing to an ongoing rewrite project of the platform’s API. The company is providing advanced STEM learning solutions that help students pursue world-class education. The company has managed to secure more than $23..5mn during their Series C round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Track performance and suggest improvements
  • Suggest UI/UX improvements to enhance the usability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with React, REST API, GraphQL, and Python
  • Extensive experience with Vue.js, Next.js, and Chakra UI
  • Familiarity with CSS and DevOps is preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills
