Job description

A US-based company on a mission to provide turnkey security solutions to clients using the power of modern technology is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer. The developer will be conducting performance testing and profiling the code using various tools and techniques. The company is developing a world-class biometric-based wearable authentication ring that prevents data breaches and ransomware damages. It has securely raised $9.5 mn+ during their Series A round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Be motivated to merge the art of programming with the art of design
Collaborate with the engineering and product leadership to design and deliver high-quality mobile apps on Android and iOS
Translate existing mobile apps, identify opportunities to better the user experience, and collaborate with firmware engineers to facilitate new product features
Work on developing new user-facing features
Write reusable libraries and code for future use
Ensure the UI/UX designs are technically feasible
Maintain complete ownership of a cross-platform app transitioning into individual native applications
Work on application optimization for peak scalability and speed
Ensure all user inputs are validated before being submitted to the back-end
Work closely with other team members

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 4+ years of experience in building mobile applications
Demonstrated ability to develop cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
Comfortable with Typescript/JavaScript as well as developing in Kotlin or Swift as and when needed
Posses prolific knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, like SASS and LESS
Must have a working knowledge of advanced JavaScript frameworks and libraries, like KnockoutJS or AngularJS
Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, and client-side scripting
Prolific knowledge of UI/UX concepts and a proven understanding of design sensibility
Fluent in spoken and written English is essential
