Job description

A global OTT platform revolutionizing the entertainment industry with a diverse selection of content is looking for a Senior iOS Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for implementing various features and improving the application's stability. The selected candidate must be a technical and product-aware engineer. The platform offers its services in more than 17 languages and enables users to select from a wide variety of entertainment options, from sports and music to daily soaps and popular movies. So far, the company has secured more than $220 mn in funding. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for developers to work for a global giant while gaining some hands-on experience.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define the future architecture of the platform
  • Enhance, review, and redesign the mobile app to offer a high-performing system with a fun user interface
  • Develop efficient and flexible programming while delivering important business elements
  • Provide technical and product expertise
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end product quality, from development to maintenance of fundamental app foundations that make apps more dependable and enjoyable
  • Mentor and guide developer, conduct regular product and code reviews
  • Guide prototypes of new ideas and investigate new technologies at the forefront of mobile technology

Job Requirements:

  • B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6-10+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Expert-level knowledge of iOS development
  • Extensive experience with UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout, and Cocoa Touch
  • Excellent Swift and Objective-C coding ability along with strong CS and OS fundamentals
  • Ability to break down complex problems into simple, innovative solutions that are workable 
  • A knack for problem-solving and ability to work in ambiguity
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a bias for action, and ability to work independently
  • Fluent in Cantonese
