Job description

A rapidly-growing company providing the flexibility, trustworthiness and value businesses need to empower their fields is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for researching and recommending technology options to meet functional goals. The US-based enterprise software company is building specialized technology for the upstream oil and gas industry. They have managed to raise $18mn+ during their Series A round of funding. This will be a full-time, long-term position requiring some overlap with the IST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create complex applications for the iOS platform, including native and hybrid
  • Define, design, and ship new features by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Unit-test code for robustness, as well as edge cases, usability, and overall dependability
  • Fixing bugs and increasing the performance of the application are priorities
  • To maximize development efficiency, find, analyze, and deploy new technologies regularly

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an iOS Engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Objective C, Swift, Core Data/Core Animation, and AWS AppSync/GraphQL
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Sound collaboration and interpersonal skills
