Job description

A fast-scaling company offering digital consultancy services to organizations is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The engineer will collaborate across teams including the project managers, designers, etc., to provide innovative solutions for the clients. The company is relied upon by elite brands, industry leaders and offers services such as brand building, e-commerce, and digital products. The job presents a good opportunity for those who want to work with a multidisciplinary team of strategists, designers, technologists and rise quickly through the ranks. It requires at least 4+ hours of time overlap with PST.

Job Responsibilities:

Prototype new features and redesign existing ones
Solve complex engineering problems using up-to-date methodologies and techniques
Perform scope development work, resolve bugs and issues with code
Introduce new ideas and processes that improve performance and productivity
Take creative designs and develop them into workable features
Participate in sprint planning for feature sets

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in developing iOS native applications in a multi-engineering team
Experience with iOS11 and Objective-C
Proficiency with Swift, Cocoa Touch, and SwiftUI
Technical knowledge of mobile application development and design patterns
Understanding of various architectures including MVVM, MVC, VIPER, Clean (Onion architecture)
Experience working with at least one IoT framework (AWS IoT, IBM Watson IoT, etc)
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Experience managing Testflight releases and distributing applications to the App Store
Ability to demonstrate separation of concerns approach and single responsibility principles
Familiarity with external libraries/tools (e.g. Alamofire, Kingfisher, etc.)
Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles and best practices
Experience with app/code optimizations and benchmarking
Experience creating layouts for various hardware configurations
Expertise with functional programming and Object-oriented design experience is a plus
Experience with memory management to solve memory leaks and analyze heap dumps
Knowledge of client/server integration (RESTful Services, JSON)
Experience reading crash stack traces from crash reporting tools like crashlytics
Solid database knowledge (SQL variants)
