Job description

The engineer will be in charge of refining feature designs with the product owners. Job Responsibilities:Using the most up-to-date engineering processes and technology, we can incorporate unique and performant features into our custom appsWhile working in a professional software engineering setting, write concise and maintainable full-stack code (source control, continuous integration, short release cycles, automated testing, etc.)Participate in team meetings such as standups, backlog refinement, and other team meetings to improve communication between teamsMake data-driven, pragmatic decisions that address both business and technical requirementsPerform SQL query performance debugging and tweaking, examine memory and CPU usage trends, and rewrite code to make it more performantBreak down tasks into well-defined, manageable chunksExamine the findings of periodic security scans and remediate any security flaws that are discoveredKey business procedures and software design should be documentedJob Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developerExcellent understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and current design patterns/practicesExperience working with .NET Framework including Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.NET MVCPrior experience working with responsive design HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, web application development, and ReactExperience working with single-page application design and development of progressive web application developmentExperience with the design and development of RESTful endpoints like WEB API, REST API, SOAP/ WCFPrior experience with Azure PaaS cloud engineeringExperience with RDBMS design and development including, views, triggers, stored procedures, optimizationsFamiliarity with MS SQL ServerExperience with Object Relational Modeling (ORM) with different tools such as Entity Framework and LINQExperience with source control, work item tracking and build managementProven experience with CI\CD, Git, and MS Azure DevOpsExperience with Automated build servers and build pipelinesNice to have some knowledge of Power BI and Azure B2CConsider refactoring a standard part of the development processProven experience in estimating software development level of effort and time managementExcellent written and oral English communication skillsPassion for building high-quality systems with software implementation best practicesAbility to be self-motivated, independent, and detail-orientedExhibit exceptional relationship management skills
