Job description

A rapidly-growing company developing biological answers to some of humanity's most pressing problems is looking for a React Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building reusable front-end frameworks and components for future use. The company is developing a range of innovative methods to write DNA with unmatched pace, affordability, and reliability. This position requires an overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Building web apps in collaboration with back-end/core teams by integrating APIs
Designing and developing web apps in collaboration with the UI/UX team
Creating reusable front-end components and libraries for future usage
Converting designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Components are optimized for the best performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers
Create mobile-responsive and performance-optimized web applications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
Experience in building enterprise-grade web applications with heavy integrations with other interfaces
Proficiency in JavaScript and DOM manipulation
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Experience with code versioning tools
Understanding of React.js
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Experience in modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, AWS Cognito, etc.
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Knowledge of front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure Cloud
Proficiency in English
