Job description

A fast-growing company active in the real estate space and offering a product that streamlines the entire real estate ecosystem, is looking for a React Developer. As a developer, you will be responsible for driving the completion of multiple projects in collaboration with the rest of the team. The company is expanding rapidly with the product currently used to manage billions of dollars in real estate assets. Job Responsibilities:

  • Push features confidently and improvements to the suite of products in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
  • Provide highly effective code reviews and peer support
  • Participate in on-call rotations to assist in troubleshooting product operations, security operations, and urgent engineering issues
  • Work and gain great exposure to clients' needs and user perspectives
  • Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
  • Mentor software engineers while building for scale and performance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of development experience 
  • Significant professional experience with Ruby on Rails, or other back-end languages
  • Significant professional experience with JavaScript and front-end technologies such as React
  • Proven track record of building well-designed systems with a high level of automated testing
  • The ability to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical and organizational matters
  • Comfortable working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
  • High sense of ownership and accountability for projects and responsibilities
  • Experience collaborating with departments and the team
  • Experience with performance and optimization problems and the ability to diagnose and prevent them
