Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing impactful social impact initiatives for the world’s poorest communities is looking for a React Developer. The developer will be responsible for transparently discussing timelines and deliverables with the team and leadership. The company is dedicated to empowering women and enhancing the quality of life for people in underdeveloped nations while addressing climate change. This position requires 4-6+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Concentrate on creating defined user interface and behavior components and adding them to React
  • Make sure that the application as a whole is reliable, well-documented, and simple to maintain
  • Work together and in coordination with the technical team on the various layers of the application and infrastructure
  • Meet deadlines and interact with stakeholders when developing front-end components iteratively

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a React Developer
  • 4+ years of experience with front-end development in React including familiarity with Zustland, React Query, and React Context
  • 2+ years of experience working with TypeScript and AWS environments
  • Strong grasp of React and the fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of modern authentication methods, especially JWTs and session cookies
  • Extensive background with PNPM, Immer, Wouter, and SCSS 
  • Solid understanding of Git version control and remote repositories on GitLab/GitHub
  • Work and troubleshoot independently while communicating the progress with team members proactively
  • Nice to have some experience working in agile and iterative development environments
  • Experience with back-end for front-end (BFF) architecture is desirable
  • Prior experience interfacing with .NET API (.NET C# for .NET Core 6) is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
